Scholarships Available:
New York Life Early Learners Scholarship
New York Life has created this scholarship to help APU increase geographic, ethnic, and financial diversity in the Early Honors Program. Financial need is considered but not required for eligibility. Application deadline is June 1st.
First National Bank of Alaska Scholarship
FNBA has created this scholarship to make the Early Honors Program a possibility for students needing help with tuition. Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need. Application deadline is June 1st.
School Description:
The Early Honors Program may be exactly what you’re looking for in your senior year. Students who are interested in Early Honors typically have exhausted many of the advanced courses their school has to offer and are struggling to put together an academically challenging and meaningful senior year. The EHP allows you to stay enrolled in your high school so you can still take part in school related activities and sports, but provides you the challenge of college-level course work.
The classes you take at Alaska Pacific are transferable semester credits. You’ll complete your year in the Early Honors Program with your high school diploma from your school, a full year of college credit from APU, and the experience and maturity you’ve gained as an individual.
