With more than 1,800 students, University of the Cumberlands is one of the largest private universities in Kentucky. Recognition by U. S. University of the Cumberlands offers 35 programs of undergraduate study including 9 pre-professional programs for professional and health science careers. Graduates enjoy a high acceptance rate to graduate and professional schools, particularly in science, business and education. University of the Cumberlands is one of a very few institutions who require all students to complete a Leadership Program. 100% of UC students participate in community service as a component of the program.

Recent additions to campus include the Rollins Fine Arts Center, the state of the art Hutton School of Business and two new residence halls. University of the Cumberlands serves a diverse body of students from 38 states and 14 countries. UC is a member of the NAIA Division I Mid South. UC was recently awarded the coveted Mid South Conference President’s Cup, which is awarded to the best overall athletic program in the conference.

UC sponsors a large financial aid program that coordinates money from federal, state, private and University resources. An outstanding value, 95% of the student body receives merit and/or grant aid.
