Preparing your transcript.. Paying for college.. Applying for scholarships.. Moving from home..

Heidi Lipmeier Fletcher
Vice President for Enrollment Management
College of Notre Dame of Maryland

“Clear descriptions of the course, materials used, lab expereinces (if applicable). Information if it is part of a series.”

Janae Weidman
Enrollment Counselor
Colorado Christian University

“At CCU, we typically look for cumulative GPA (we take the weighted GPA), class rank, and ACT/SAT test scores on the transcript. We also look for what kind of classes the student took while in school (AP, IB Program, Honors, etc.)”

Bridget Bond
Assistant Director,
Undergraduate Amission
Illinois Institute of Technology

“Great transcripts are well organized with descriptive course titles. For example, “Math IV” doesn’t tell me anything about the material covered. Most high schools provide a school profile as well. You can make your own profile including brief (1 paragraph) descriptions of the courses taken, as well as the length of time dedicated to that course.”

Kaitie Mcgregor
Admission Counselor
Murray State University

“Rigor courses and curriculum are encouraged.”
